Who is responsible

Anna Daccache, career coach, working as a licensed freelancer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. Contact details are on the contact page. Licence details are available on request.

This notice follows the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

What this site collects

• Enquiries and booking requests: your name, email, optional phone or WhatsApp number, preferred language, the service you are interested in, preferred times and your message.
• Tool results, only if you choose: if you tick the box when sending an enquiry, a plain-text summary of your Career Compass, Decision Lab or roadmap is attached. You see exactly what will be sent before you send it.
• Usage statistics, only with your permission: if you click "Allow analytics" in the banner, the site loads Google Analytics. It records which pages you visit, how you arrived, your device and browser type and your approximate location, and it sets cookies for this. The site also counts how often its tools are started or completed, without names, answers or IP addresses. Without your permission, no analytics runs and no analytics cookies are set. The site uses no advertising cookies.

What stays on your device

Your answers in the Career Compass, Decision Lab and 90-day roadmap are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to the site. You can delete them with the button in each tool or by clearing your browser data. Your choice in the consent banner is stored the same way. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner appears again.

Why your details are used

To reply to your enquiry, arrange and deliver coaching sessions, send invoices and keep a record of our correspondence. The basis is your request and, once you book, the agreement to provide the service. Marketing emails are sent only if you ticked the separate box, and you can unsubscribe at any time. With your permission, usage statistics show which pages and tools help visitors, so the site can be improved.

Your details are never sold or shared for advertising.

Who else processes your data

• Hosting: the website and its database run on servers of Railway Corp., a cloud provider whose data centres may be located outside the UAE, for example in the European Union or the United States. Your enquiry is stored there.
• Analytics: Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited, only with your permission. Google may process this data in the United States. Google's privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Communication: Anna replies from her own email account or through the messenger you chose, such as Telegram or WhatsApp. These services process messages under their own privacy terms.

Where data leaves the UAE, it goes only to providers bound by confidentiality and security obligations.

Adults only

The services are for adults aged 18 and over. The site does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

How long data is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to coaching are deleted 12 months after the last contact. Notes from coaching sessions are kept while we work together and deleted 24 months after the last session, unless you ask for earlier deletion. Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as UAE law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data held about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict its use or to withdraw a consent you gave. Write to the email on the contact page. Requests are answered within 30 days. If you are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

Changes

This notice is updated when the site or the way data is handled changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
